WinkBed
We slept well on the WinkBed Luxury Firm while reclining on our backs. Zoning added lumbar support that kept our spines in proper alignment during the night.
When trying to sleep on our sides on this mattress, we felt a lot of pressure. The Softer model or another side sleeper mattress should be considered for those who prefer to sleep on their sides.

The WinkBed’s Luxury Firm model provided adequate stomach support. If you want to sleep in this position for a long period of time, the Firmer model would be a better option.
Helix
We had a terrific night’s sleep on the Helix Midnight while on board. We found this position to be an excellent mix of comfort and support.
We found the Helix to be more comfortable for side sleeping than the WinkBed. This is presumably due to the slower-moving comfort layers, which provide some figure shaping at the shoulder and hip.
We didn’t get enough spinal support while sleeping on our stomachs on the Helix. People who sleep on their stomachs for a large chunk of the night should opt for a more supportive mattress.
What Do The WinkBed And Helix Mattresses Feel Like?
There is a plush pillow-top on top of the WinkBed, which provides an innerspring feel. The mattress is sensitive and springy, making it easier for sleepers to move around on top of it.
The Helix is a well-balanced hybrid. There is some of the slow-moving feel associated with memory foam in its upper layers. With a little bounce provided by the coils, this mattress isn’t as responsive as the WinkBed.

The Helix Midnight is a good option for side sleepers of average weight. The Helix may not be supportive enough for stomach sleepers of ordinary weight.
Heavyweight Sleepers – Over 230lbs
The WinkBed Luxury Firm is a good option for heavier sleepers, but some users may prefer the WinkBed Plus variant (which is made specifically for larger people). WinkBed may be excessively firm for heavier side sleepers, who are more prone than lighter side sleepers to break through to firmer levels of support beneath. The WinkBed may be enough for stomach sleepers who weigh more than 230 pounds, but most people in this category will choose the more supportive WinkBed Plus.
Heavyweight sleepers may find the Helix Midnight uncomfortable, as it is made to accommodate a firmer user base. There are a few things to keep in mind before making a final decision on either of these mattresses. We put both beds through a battery of tests to see how well they controlled warmth, supported the edges, and transferred motion. Check out the results!
Sleeping Hot Or Cold
This ended up being a draw! Both mattresses have a variety of functions to keep you cool while you sleep. There is plenty of ventilation through the WinkBed thanks to its cooling Tencel cover and gel-infused memory foam. With its cooling cover and coils, the Helix provides plenty of ventilation. Motion Transfer
The Helix Midnight is the clear winner in this comparison. In terms of absorbing motion and minimizing disruptions, its memory foam comfort layer does an excellent job. So, it may be beneficial for couples because of this.
Edge Support
WinkBed has greater edge support overall, even though the Helix Midnight has an enhanced perimeter. While sitting or lying down towards the mattress’s edges, we felt more safe.
Durability
